We have created this privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information.

About Chicsystems and the websites we run.

Any websites we run must also adhere to this policy. If you are viewing this page after clicking a link on a email you received or on a website you have viewed then you can be sure this is run and maintained by chicsystems and these rules apply.

We operate many websites and mailing lists and relevant services. Most subscribers are on a list because they joined via a particular website. Only where it expressly asks about 3rd partys AND you confirm your agreement will your details be released to a 3rd party.

At chicsystems we do not believe in passing information around and thus most of our sites mailing list DO NOT ask about 3rd parties because we do not supply information to 3rd parties. As a consequence the information you supply will ONLY be used for that website. We do not intend to change this part of our policy. There is too much spam caused by the free and easy selling of mailing list and we do not want to add to this problem.

Why did you receive an email/SMS from us?

If you received a mailing from us, (a) your detailswere either listed with us as someone who has expressly shared these details for the purpose of receiving information in the future ("opt-in"), or (b) you have registered or purchased or otherwise have an existing relationship with us. We respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of our mailings.

How we protect your privacy

We use security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system. Our newsletter systems are automatically managed, you usually subscribe and unsubscribe automatically. We do not control this. Additionally you usually have to confirm a request to join a mailing list. This system may vary for SMS / Text services.

Sharing and Usage

We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.

How can you stop receiving email from us?

Each email sent contains an easy, automated way for you to cease receiving email from us, or to change your expressed interests. If you wish to do this, simply follow the instructions at the end of any email.

SMS/TEXT services can usually be stopped by sending the message STOP to the relevant number. If the SMS/Text service doesn't accept replies or you do not have a number to send to then an email to stop@thedomainsendingthesms should stop the SMS/Texts. If this fails then send a message with STOP as the subject line and your mobile number to stop@chicsystems.co.uk and we wil directly access the database and remove your details manually.

If you have received unwanted, unsolicited email sent via this system or purporting to be sent via this system, please forward a copy of that email with your comments to abuse@chicsystems.co.uk.

If you are having problems or suspect that a website that we host is purporting to adhere to this policy but appears not to be then notify us immediately at abuse@chicsystems.co.uk.

Sites that do not adhere to proper rules will once warned be suspended if they do not comply with this policy.
