Search Engine Friendly URL testing

We are now testing Search Friendly URL's (SEF) for our mambo installation of the Chicsystems website

With Content management systems like Mambo and Joomla the links are in a PHP format. As such they do not appear friendly in the explorer window, eg www.chicsystems.co.uk/index.php?=1 etc. With SEF they now appear as folders, words and numbers.

This should improve ease of use but mainly to help the search Engines map properly and more of the website.

We have experimented with this on test sites and now installed it on Chicsystems. We have created a new sitemap from scratch and will monitor the progress before rolling out across our client sites.
